Our Aluminum Alkoxides Catalysts have been developed as an alternative to powdered Aluminum Isopropoxide (AIP). AIP is a widely used chemical that enjoys use as a catalyst in Meerwein-Pondorf reductions, Oppenauer oxidations, esterifications, transesterifications, amidations and condensations.
Unlike powdered AIP, our Aluminum Alkoxides are supplied in liquid form and are available in concentrations ranging from 60 to 100% active material. For ease of use, all of our Aluminum Alkoxide Catalysts are soluble in a variety of aliphatic, aromatic, and naphthenic hydrocarbons.
